The new taproom for Kernel and what a taproom it is! Occupying the ground floor of the new residential block this is a large, airy, light space, and a step up from the already excellent Arch 7. Much more of a bar feel with plenty of seating and a larger bar. Now offering 25 beers on tap and the addition of a couple of handpumps. They now also have a kitchen on site meaning they can offer food. Marking the half way point of the “mile” this is a must visit.

Revisit here to confirm the news that I had heard that they now have a brewery on site. The nano kit is on the mezzanine with two beers available at time of visit. The plan is to put seating up on the mezzanine and serve the house beers there.
