The Lists

For the majority of people just watching birds is enough, but eventually some start to wonder if they have seen a particular species before. And so a list is born.

Once you get serious about your birding the list becomes a very important aspect, and as you progress and travel you might find yourself keeping more and more lists, including the, possibly apocryphal, infamous “Birds seen whilst on the toilet.” That one isn’t one of mine!

I’ll show some restraint and only publish my lists for the major regions here. All are subject to on-going checking and revision as science and knowledge progresses.
