Craft & Courage (1 / 231)

Cosy little bar in central Crystal Palace. 6 beers on tap and 2 double fridges of packaged beers. Plenty of seating in the small space with the bonus of a secluded garden area to the rear. Food here is limited to the usual bar snacks.

Westow House (2 /232)

Imposing pub at the top of Westow Hill now owned by Portobello Brewery. A good selection of their beers across the 14 taps and up to 5 on handpump plus guests. Plenty of seating throughout, including the large patio at the front, with the rear part of the pub reserved for diners.

Portobello – V.E.S.P.A – 4.2% (Draft) – £3.25 1/2 pint

Craft Beer Cabin (South Norwood) (3 / 233)

First of the two branches, the other being in Bromley. Former shop with a small bar area and seating on two levels plus outside. 6 taps and a fridge. Some of of the taps are labelled with a generic style but the actual beer is displayed on the screen to your right. Food is limited to snacks.

Bar owned by Gipsy Hill Brewery. Expect to find plenty of their beers across the 8 taps and 2 handpumps but they also have guests. There is a fridge behind the bar with some packaged beers. Cosy one room setup with some additional seating on the pavement outside. It is possible to order Yard Sale Pizza in.

Gipsy Hill – Sliceworld – 4.5% (Draft) – £3.50 1/2 pint

Tucked away on a quiet industrial estate is Gipsy Hill brewery and their taproom, taking up most of the estate. Spacious taproom area with plenty of seating alongside their pilot kit as well as plenty of tables and benches outside. A dozen beers are available on tap plus a couple of handpumps and fridges. Food is the ubiquitous Yard Sale Pizza that can be ordered in.

Gipsy Hill – Swell – 4.0% (Draft) – £3.25 1/2 pint

Cosy one room bar opposite Gipsy Hill station. 15 taps and up to two cask beers are available offering a really good range of beers. Add in the 3 fridges of packaged beers and you are spoilt for choice. There is a nano brewery in the basement which has been brewing sporadically although it is hoped that it will become more regular soon with the beers only available in the bar.

Familienbrauerei Jacob – Weissbier – 5.3% (Draft) – £3.75 1/2 pint

Craft Metropolis (Penge) (7 / 237)

Original branch of Craft Metropolis close to Penge West station. 10 taps of well chosen beers alongside 4 double fridges of packaged beers. Adequate seating in the small space with a couple of benches outside. As well as bar snacks you can order in Yard Sale Pizza.

New Bristol – Bristol Lager – 4.6% (Draft) – £3.30 1/2 pint

Ignition Brewery Tap (8 / 238)

Brewery and tap room in a social space on the main road in Sydenham. The brewery is not-for-profit and makes a point of employing and training adults with learning difficulties. The number of taps has doubled to 8 with most serving their beers but they do have a couple of guests.

Park Fever (9 / 239)

Billed as craft beer and chocolate although they admit that the chocolate is taking a back seat in favour of wine. This bottle shop offers a great selection, albeit with no taps, and a comfortable space to enjoy your choice. Bar snacks and the Yard Sale Pizza menu are available.

Tegernsee – Tegernsee Hell – 4.8% (Bottle) – £4.70 Bottle

Brockley Brewery (Hither Green Tap) (10 / 240)

The second, larger, brewery owned by Brockley. Their keg range and regular beers are brewed here. The tap is your typical industrial estate taproom setup with a small bar and seating area, some upstairs seating, and a large seated area outside. 4 of their beers on tap and two on cask alongside a fridge of packaged beers. There is a street food kitchen on site.

Brockley – Idaho 7 Pale – 4.3% (Draft) – £3.50 1/2 pint
